Galaxy Note 8.0 has a global score of 69.2, which is much better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's score of 60.8. These devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Note 8.0 has a newer 4.4.2 version while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2 version. Galaxy Note 8.0's body is thinner but just a little heavier than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and both of them were released with only a couple of months difference.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, although it has a slower graphics co-processor, they both have a Quad-Core processing unit and the same RAM amount.
