Comparison review
Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is slightly better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, with a 61.4 score against 60.8. Despite being the best tablet device in our current comparison, we must highlight that it is also older, a bit thicker and incredibly heavier. Both of these devices use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has an older 4.1 version and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2 version.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a much better performing CPU than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a larger number of cores , an extra GPU and a larger amount of RAM. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a lot better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a much greater number of pixels per inch of display and a lot higher resolution of 1200 x 1920px.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a lot bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) features a superior battery duration than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.

Although Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
