The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE is just a bit better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, with a overall score of 61.7 against 60.8. These tablets include Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has older 4.1 version and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2 version. Although Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE is better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, it must be noted that it is also older, somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker.

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a quite better performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has 1 GB more RAM, a higher number of cores and a better 450 MHz graphics processor. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features an incredibly better screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also has a much better resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and a way greater display pixel density.

Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has a much better camera than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a way bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 56 GB more internal storage.

Although Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE is a better device, it is more expensive than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
