Comparison review
Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is slightly better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, getting a 66.2 score against 60.8. Both of these tablets come with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has the newer 4.4.2 version while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2 version. Although the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 were released only a couple of months apart, Galaxy Tab 4 8.0's design is a little heavier but also somewhat thinner.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a superior CPU than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and although they both have a 450 megahertz graphics processing unit and the same number of cores, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also has more RAM. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a much sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and a lot greater pixels number per inch of display.
Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features a way better camera than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a way bigger storage to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.
The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features a much better battery performance than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.
The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 costs more money than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
