Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is slightly better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, having a general score of 64.8 against 60.8. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a way older and a little bit heavier tablet than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, but Samsung was able to make it somewhat thinner anyway. These tablets include Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has an older 4.0.4 version while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2.

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a lot better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher 1200 x 1920 resolution and a way greater display pixels density. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a quite bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 also has an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 32 GB.

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a better performing CPU than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a higher amount of RAM, a faster graphics co-processor running at 450 MHz and more cpu cores. Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a really longer battery duration than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with a much better camera than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, resigning some specifications.
