The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is much better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, getting a 68.3 score against 60.8. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is a heavier device than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, but both of them have the same thickness. Both devices we are comparing here have Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has 8.1 Oreo version while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2, giving you a couple nice extra features and performance optimizations.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a greater processing power than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), and although they both have a 2 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also has a graphics co-processor.
