The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is much better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, getting a 68.3 score against 60.8. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is a heavier device than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, but both of them have the same thickness. Both devices we are comparing here have Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has 8.1 Oreo version while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2, giving you a couple nice extra features and performance optimizations.
