The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a general score of 60.8, which is slightly better than Galaxy Tab's global score of 58.6. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's construction is much newer, extremely thinner and lighter than Galaxy Tab. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (operating system), but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has 4.2.2 version while Galaxy Tab has Android 2.3.3, providing some additional features.
