Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a general score of 60.8, which is slightly better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD's global score of 57.6. These tablets have Android operating system, but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has older 4.2.2 version and Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. Despite of the fact the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 is older and somewhat thicker than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, it's body is still just a little lighter.
