Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is better than iPad 2, with a score of 68.5 against 62.1. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 comes with Android 4.2.2 operating system, and iPad 2 counts with iOS 7.x operating system. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 body is way newer, just a bit thinner and much lighter than the iPad 2.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 features a superior CPU than Apple iPad 2, because it has 1,5 GB more RAM, a much better graphics co-processor working at 450 MHz and a higher number of cores.
