The iPad mini 3 is much better than the iPad 2, with a global score of 77.5 against 62.1. The iPad mini 3 body is newer, thinner and notably lighter than the iPad 2. Both of these tablets have iOS operating system, but the iPad mini 3 has a newer 8.x version and iPad 2 has iOS 7.x, so it gives you a lot of extra features.
IPad mini 3 has a quite better processing power than iPad 2, and although they both have a Dual-Core processor, the iPad mini 3 also has a better 600 megahertz graphics processor, a larger amount of RAM memory and a 64 bits processor. Apple iPad mini 3 has a much better display than iPad 2, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher pixel quantity per inch in the screen and a lot better 1536 x 2048px resolution.
