IPad Pro is much better than the iPad 2, getting a score of 79.5 against 62.1. Both devices we are comparing include iOS OS, but iPad Pro has a newer 9.x version and iPad 2 has iOS 7.x version, counting with a couple nice extra features and performance optimizations. The iPad Pro design is noticeably newer and extremely thinner than iPad 2's, although it's also somewhat heavier.
Apple iPad Pro has a much more vibrant screen than Apple iPad 2, because it has a much better 2732 x 2048 pixels resolution, a much larger display and a way greater pixel density. The iPad Pro counts with a way bigger storage for apps and games than Apple iPad 2, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The iPad Pro features a bit faster processor than Apple iPad 2, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit and an inferior number of cores (although faster), it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory. The Apple iPad Pro captures way better videos and photos than Apple iPad 2, and although they both have a same size aperture, the Apple iPad Pro also has a lot better video resolution and a much more megapixels back facing camera.
Apple iPad Pro has a really longer battery performance than Apple iPad 2, because it has a 10307mAh battery size against 6944mAh.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing here, the iPad Pro is also by far the cheapest one, which makes it an easy decision.
