Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is much better than the Apple iPad 2, with a 72.2 score against 62.1. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 body is much newer than Apple iPad 2's, although it's heavier and a little bit thicker. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 comes with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, and Apple iPad 2 has iOS 7.x operating system.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a bit better hardware performance than Apple iPad 2, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, and they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 also counts with more RAM memory. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a better looking screen than Apple iPad 2, because it has a bigger display, a way better resolution of 1440 x 2160px and a lot higher pixel density.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a much better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Apple iPad 2, because it has 512 GB internal memory capacity. IPad 2 has a very superior battery life than Microsoft Surface Pro 3. The Apple iPad 2 has a bit better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, although it has a lot lower (HD) video quality and a lot worse 0.7 mega-pixels resolution camera.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 costs more than the Apple iPad 2, but you can get a better tablet for that extra dollars.
