Comparison review
The iPad 2 is a little bit better than Microsoft Surface RT, with a 62.1 score against 58.4. Despite of the fact that iPad 2 is older than the Microsoft Surface RT, it's construction is a little bit thinner and a little lighter. IPad 2 comes with iOS 7.x OS, and Microsoft Surface RT has Windows RT OS.
Microsoft Surface RT features a bit superior processor than iPad 2, because it has a higher amount of RAM, a larger number of faster cores and a much better 520 megahertz GPU. The Microsoft Surface RT features a little sharper screen than Apple iPad 2, because it has a bit bigger display, a little bit higher resolution of 768 x 1366 and a just a bit more pixels per inch of screen.
The iPad 2 takes a lot better pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface RT, although it has a lot lower (HD) video resolution and a back camera with way less megapixels resolution. The Microsoft Surface RT counts with as much storage to install applications and games as the Apple iPad 2 one, both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory.
IPad 2 has a very superior battery duration than Microsoft Surface RT.
Although iPad 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Microsoft Surface RT, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Microsoft Surface RT. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy iPad 2, else you can save some dollars and buy the Microsoft Surface RT, giving up a couple specs and features.
