Comparison review
The Samsung Ativ Tab is just a bit better than the Apple iPad 2, getting a 66.7 score against 62.1. Samsung Ativ Tab comes with Windows RT OS, and Apple iPad 2 comes with iOS 7.x OS. Samsung Ativ Tab's design is newer and just a bit lighter than Apple iPad 2's, although it is also a little thicker.
Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a little sharper screen than Apple iPad 2, because it has a just a little higher pixel density, a bit larger display and a bit higher resolution of 768 x 1366px. Samsung Ativ Tab counts with just a bit better performance than iPad 2, and although they both have the same number of cores and a 400 megahertz graphics processing unit, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has a larger amount of RAM.
IPad 2 takes just a bit better photos and videos than Samsung Ativ Tab, although it has a back-facing camera with a lot worse resolution and a worse 1280x720 (HD) video definition. Samsung Ativ Tab has a much better memory capacity for apps and games than Apple iPad 2, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB.
Samsung Ativ Tab counts with greater battery performance than iPad 2, because it has an 8200mAh battery capacity instead of 6944mAh.
The Samsung Ativ Tab costs more than Apple iPad 2, but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
