Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is a bit better than the iPad 2, having a general score of 62.8 against 62.1. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has Android 7.1 Nougat operating system, and iPad 2 works with iOS 7.x operating system. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0's construction is a lot newer, thinner and much lighter than the iPad 2.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a little better performance than Apple iPad 2, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM and a greater number of faster cores. The Apple iPad 2 features a slightly better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a bit less pixels per display inch, and they both have exactly the same 768 x 1024 resolution, the Apple iPad 2 also counts with a bigger display.
The iPad 2 counts with just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, although it has a much worse 0.7 megapixels resolution camera in the back and a lower 1280x720 (HD) video resolution. IPad 2 has a greater storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 48 GB more internal memory.
The iPad 2 has a way better battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a 65% bigger battery size.
