The Apple iPad 2 has a score of 62.1, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7's overall score of 60.5. Even though Apple iPad 2 is a better tablet device than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, it must be told that it is also a way older, heavier and somewhat thicker tablet device. Apple iPad 2 counts with iOS 7.x operating system, while Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 works with Android 7.1 Nougat operating system.
The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 features a bit more powerful processor than Apple iPad 2, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a larger number of cores and a higher amount of RAM.
