Comparison review
The Apple iPad mini 3 is slightly better than the iPad 3, with a 75.2 score against 69.5. The Apple iPad mini 3 body is incredibly newer, extremely lighter and thinner than iPad 3. These tablets have iOS OS (operating system), but the Apple iPad mini 3 has a newer 8.x version while iPad 3 has iOS 6.1, so it provides a couple nice extra features.
The iPad mini 3 has a little sharper screen than iPad 3, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels, the iPad mini 3 also counts with a just a little better display density. The Apple iPad mini 3 has a more powerful processing unit than Apple iPad 3, and although they both have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount, the Apple iPad mini 3 also has an extra graphics processing unit and a 64-bits processing unit.
The Apple iPad mini 3 features a much greater storage to install applications and games than iPad 3, because it has 32 GB more internal storage. The iPad 3 features a way better battery life than iPad mini 3, because it has a 11560mAh battery capacity against 6350mAh. IPad mini 3 takes just a bit better photos and videos than Apple iPad 3. Both of them have the same video frame rate, a 5 mega pixels back-facing camera, the same video resolution and a F2.4 diafragm aperture.
Despite of being the best tablet in this comparison, Apple iPad mini 3 is also very cheap compared to the other tablets.
