Comparison review
Apple iPad 3 has an overall score of 71.1, which is better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's global score of 60.8. The Apple iPad 3 comes with iOS 6.1 OS, while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with Android 4.2.2 OS. Even being the best tablet in this review, the Apple iPad 3 is an older, noticeably heavier and a bit thicker tablet than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a greater performance than iPad 3, because it has a larger amount of RAM memory, a higher number of cores and an extra graphics co-processor. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a sharper screen than iPad 3, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1200 x 1920 and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a bit more pixels per display inch.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's memory for games and applications is very similar to Apple iPad 3's one, both of them have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity. The iPad 3 features a very superior battery life than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. The Apple iPad 3 shoots much better videos and photos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.
Although iPad 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy iPad 3, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, resigning some features and specs.
