IPad Air has a score of 72.6, which is a bit better than the iPad 3's 71.1 overall score. IPad Air's body is newer, somewhat thinner and lighter than the iPad 3. These devices include iOS OS, but iPad Air has a more recent 8.x version while iPad 3 has iOS 6.1, so it provides you some additional features and increased performance.
The Apple iPad Air counts with a little more vivid display than Apple iPad 3. Both have a screen with the same size, the same quantity of pixels per inch of display and an equal 1536 x 2048 resolution.
