Comparison review
The iPad 3 is better than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, getting a global score of 71.1 against 62.7. IPad 3 works with iOS 6.1 OS, while Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 works with Android 4.0 OS. The iPad 3 construction is somewhat heavier but just a little thinner than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, and both were released with only a couple months difference.
The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 counts with a bit more powerful processor than Apple iPad 3, and although they both have 2 cores and the same RAM amount, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 also has an extra GPU. Apple iPad 3 has an incredibly better looking display than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a way higher 1536 x 2048 pixels resolution and a way better display pixels density.
The iPad 3 has a much bigger memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory. Apple iPad 3 counts with a much longer battery duration than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a 11560mAh battery size.
IPad 3 has a greater camera than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a back-facing camera with way more MP.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones in this comparison, the iPad 3 is also a lot cheaper, which makes it a great choice.
