Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab S8 is slightly better than iPad 3, getting a general score of 76.7 against 71.1. Galaxy Tab S8's body is much newer, extremely thinner and a lot lighter than iPad 3. Galaxy Tab S8 works with Android 13 OS, while iPad 3 works with iOS 6.1 OS. The iPad 3 has a much better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, although it has a little worse 1536 x 2048 resolution, a little smaller display and a quite worse display pixel density.
The Galaxy Tab S8 has a lot bigger storage to install games and applications than iPad 3, because it has more internal storage capacity and a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB. The iPad 3 counts with a much faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory and 6 lesser processing cores.
The Galaxy Tab S8 shoots clearer photographs and videos than iPad 3, because it has a back camera with way more MP and a way higher video definition. Apple iPad 3 features a superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab S8, because it has 11560mAh of battery capacity against 8000mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than iPad 3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as iPad 3. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the iPad 3, letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most with your money.
