Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a general score of 76.9, which is just a bit better than the iPad 3's overall score of 71.1. The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 construction is newer and thinner, but heavier than iPad 3. The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has Android 4.4 operating system, while iPad 3 works with iOS 7.x operating system.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features just a bit better looking screen than iPad 3, because although it has a little lower quantity of pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a larger display and a little higher resolution of 1600 x 2560px. Apple iPad 3 features a bit bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 32 GB more internal memory capacity.
Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 counts with a better processing power than iPad 3, because it has a GPU, more RAM memory and a greater number of faster cores. The iPad 3 counts with a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, although it has a way lower resolution camera in the back and a lower (Full HD) video definition.
