Comparison review
The iPad Air has a global score of 72.6, which is just a bit better than Apple iPad 4's global score of 70.8. Both of these tablets use iOS OS (Operating System), but the iPad Air has the newer 8.x version while Apple iPad 4 has iOS 7.x version, offering some nice extra features and performance improvements. The iPad Air design is somewhat thinner and way lighter than the Apple iPad 4.
IPad Air has a little more vivid display than Apple iPad 4. They have a display of the same size, an equal resolution of 1536 x 2048 and a better pixel quantity in each inch of display. The iPad Air has a bit better processing power than Apple iPad 4, and although they both have 2 cpu cores and 1 GB of RAM, the iPad Air also has a much better GPU running at 600 MHz and a 64-bits CPU.
Apple iPad Air's camera is very similar to Apple iPad 4's camera, both of them have a same resolution camera, the same video frame rates, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and a F2.4 diafragm aperture. The iPad 4 has a much bigger storage for games and applications than Apple iPad Air, because it has 128 GB internal storage.
IPad Air counts with a very superior battery duration than iPad 4.
Despite of being the best tablet in this comparison, Apple iPad Air is also a bargain compared to the other tablets, making it an easy decision.
