Comparison review
The iPad 4 is just a bit better than iPad mini, with a 70.8 score against 68.1. Although it's the best tablet we compare here, iPad 4 is a way thicker and incredibly heavier tablet than iPad mini. Both of these tablets have iOS OS, but the iPad 4 has older 7.x version and iPad mini has iOS 8.x version.
The Apple iPad 4 has a bit more powerful processor than Apple iPad mini, and although they both have a Dual-Core CPU and a 400 MHz GPU, the Apple iPad 4 also has 512 MB more RAM memory. IPad 4 features a more vivid screen than Apple iPad mini, because it has a larger display, a way higher resolution of 1536 x 2048px and a way better number of pixels per inch of screen.
Apple iPad mini has a camera that is very similar to Apple iPad 4's camera, both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, a same size camera aperture, the same video resolution and a back camera with a 5 mega-pixels resolution. Apple iPad 4 features a much bigger memory to store more games and applications than Apple iPad mini, because it has 128 GB internal storage.
The iPad mini counts with a way better battery performance than Apple iPad 4.
Although iPad 4 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the iPad mini, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the iPad mini. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy the iPad mini, and give up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
