The iPad 4 has an overall score of 70.8, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0's global score of 69.2. Despite being the best in this comparison review, iPad 4's body is incredibly heavier and somewhat thicker than the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0. IPad 4 counts with iOS 7.x OS, and Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 works with Android 4.4.2 OS.
Apple iPad 4 counts with a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a greater pixels amount per inch in the screen, a lot higher resolution of 1536 x 2048 and a larger screen. The Apple iPad 4 counts with a much bigger storage for applications and games than Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 112 GB more internal memory capacity.
Galaxy Note 8.0 features a little better hardware performance than iPad 4, because it has a better graphics processing unit working at 1.06 gigahertz, more RAM and a larger number of cores. Galaxy Note 8.0 has a superior battery lifetime than iPad 4. The Apple iPad 4 features a much better camera than Galaxy Note 8.0, and although they both have a 5 mega pixels resolution back camera, the Apple iPad 4 also has a lot higher 1920x1080 video quality.
Although iPad 4 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0. So if you need that extra features, you can buy iPad 4, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, resigning a couple features and specifications.
