IPad 4 is way better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, getting a 70.8 score against 58.1. The iPad 4 has iOS 7.x operating system, while Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with Android 3.0 operating system. Despite being the best in this comparison review, the iPad 4 construction is a lot heavier and a little bit thicker than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9.
Apple iPad 4 has a quite superior hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have a Dual-Core processor, the Apple iPad 4 also has an extra graphics processing unit. IPad 4 has a much better display than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a way higher 1536 x 2048 resolution, a quite bigger screen and a much higher pixel count per display inch.
Apple iPad 4 has a much better storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with a very superior battery lifetime than iPad 4. Apple iPad 4 takes much clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a back-facing camera with a much better 5 megapixels resolution and a much higher 1920x1080 video definition.
IPad 4 is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
