IPad 4 has an overall score of 70.8, which is way better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab's 58.6 overall score. IPad 4's construction is noticeably heavier but incredibly thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab. The iPad 4 works with iOS 7.x operating system, while Samsung Galaxy Tab counts with Android 2.3.3 operating system.
Apple iPad 4 features a more powerful processor than Galaxy Tab, because it has 512 MB more RAM, a graphics co-processor and a larger number of faster cores. Apple iPad 4 counts with a much more vibrant screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a really larger screen, a much better resolution of 1536 x 2048 and a lot higher display pixels density.
The iPad 4 counts with a much greater memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. The iPad 4 has a much better camera than Galaxy Tab, because it has a much higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and a lot higher 5 mega pixels resolution back facing camera.
Galaxy Tab features a very superior battery life than iPad 4.
Although iPad 4 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy Tab, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Tab. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy iPad 4, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy Tab, letting go some specs and features.
