Comparison review
IPad 3 is a little bit better than the Apple iPad 4, getting a global score of 69.5 against 65.5. Both tablets in this comparison review have the same iOS 7.x OS, so you shouldn't notice any difference regarding that. The iPad 3 body has the same thickness than the Apple iPad 4, but it is just a little heavier.
The iPad 4 features a bit faster CPU than Apple iPad 3, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM and a Dual-Core processor, the iPad 4 also has an extra graphics processing unit. The iPad 4 has a little sharper screen than Apple iPad 3. Both of them have a screen of the same size, the same resolution of 1536 x 2048 and a higher count of pixels per inch in the screen.
The Apple iPad 4 has just a bit better camera than iPad 3. Both of them have a 5 MP back-facing camera, the same 1920x1080 video quality, the same camera aperture and the same video frame rates. The Apple iPad 3 features a very superior storage capacity for applications and games than iPad 4, because it has 16 GB more internal storage capacity.
The iPad 3 counts with a much better battery duration than iPad 4.
The iPad 3 is not only the best tablets in our current comparison, but it's also cheaper than the other tablet.
