Comparison review
The Apple iPad Air has a score of 77.9, which is much better than iPad 9.7-inch's global score of 65.4. Both tablets in this comparison review have iOS operating system, but the Apple iPad Air has a newer 8.x version and iPad 9.7-inch has iOS 13.x version, providing lots of additional features and enhanced performance. Apple iPad Air's body has the same weight and thickness than the iPad 9.7-inch.
Apple iPad Air has a much better screen than Apple iPad 9.7-inch. They have the same screen pixel density, an equal resolution of 1536 x 2048px and a same size screen. The iPad Air features a much bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than iPad 9.7-inch. IPad Air has a little bit better performance than iPad 9.7-inch, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the iPad Air also counts with a 64-bit processing unit and a GPU.
The iPad Air's battery life is just as good as Apple iPad 9.7-inch's battery lifetime, although the iPad Air has a 0 percent smaller battery size. The iPad 9.7-inch has a bit better camera than Apple iPad Air, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution, the same video frame rate and a same size diafragm aperture, the iPad 9.7-inch also has a camera in the back with way more mega pixels.
IPad Air costs more money than Apple iPad 9.7-inch, but you can get a better tablet for that extra dollars.
