The Apple iPad Air is slightly better than Apple iPad 3, having a 77.9 score against 71.1. Both of these tablets come with iOS OS (Operating System), but the Apple iPad Air has newer 8.x version and Apple iPad 3 has iOS 6.1 version, providing you some nice extra features and increased performance.
