IPad Air 2 is just a bit better than the iPad Air, having a score of 79.3 against 77.9. IPad Air 2 is a newer tablet, and it's also a bit lighter and noticeably thinner than iPad Air. Both tablets we compare here work with the same iOS 8.x OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't see any difference in that aspect.
