Comparison review
IPad Air has a score of 77.9, which is a lot better than the iPod Touch 5th Generation's overall score of 62.7. The iPad Air design is newer, but incredibly thicker and extremely heavier than iPod Touch 5th Generation. These devices use iOS OS (operating system), but the iPad Air has 8.x version while iPod Touch 5th Generation has iOS 7.x, so it gives a couple additional features and performance enhancements.
IPod Touch 5th Generation counts with a little sharper display than iPad Air, because although it has a much smaller screen and a way lower resolution of 1136 x 640px, it also counts with a little greater pixel density. Apple iPad Air counts with a way bigger memory capacity for applications and games than iPod Touch 5th Generation, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The iPad Air has a more powerful CPU than Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation, and although they both have a Dual-Core CPU, the iPad Air also has a higher amount of RAM, a much better 600 megahertz GPU and a 64 bits CPU. The Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation and Apple iPad Air feature very similar cameras, both have the same (Full HD) video quality, a F2.4 aperture, the same video frame rates and a 5 megapixels camera in the back.
The iPad Air counts with a way better battery performance than Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation, because it has 8820mAh of battery capacity against 1030mAh.
The iPad Air costs a little more money than iPod Touch 5th Generation, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
