The iPad Air has a global score of 77.9, which is just a bit better than Google Nexus 9's 74.5 score. Even though the iPad Air is older and a little bit heavier than Google Nexus 9, it's construction is still a bit thinner. IPad Air comes with iOS 8.x operating system, while Google Nexus 9 comes with Android 5.0 operating system.
The Google Nexus 9 counts with a little bit better screen than iPad Air, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 2048 x 1536, the Google Nexus 9 also counts with a little higher quantity of pixels in each inch of screen.
