IPad Air has a score of 77.9, which is a lot better than the Microsoft Surface 9 Pro's 58.7 score. IPad Air works with iOS 8.x operating system, while Microsoft Surface 9 Pro comes with Windows operating system. IPad Air's construction is thinner and noticeably lighter than the Microsoft Surface 9 Pro.
IPad Air has a very superior processor than Microsoft Surface 9 Pro, because although it has lesser RAM, it also counts with a 64-bit processing unit, more cores and a GPU. IPad Air features a lot better looking display than Microsoft Surface 9 Pro, although it has a really smaller screen, a just a bit worse pixels density and a way lower 1536 x 2048px resolution.
The iPad Air has a lot better camera than Microsoft Surface 9 Pro, although it has a much lower 5 MP resolution camera in the back. IPad Air and Microsoft Surface 9 Pro count with similar memory for games and applications, both of them have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity. IPad Air features a very superior battery performance than Microsoft Surface 9 Pro.
