The iPad Air is much better than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, having a global score of 77.9 against 65.1. IPad Air counts with iOS 8.x OS, and Microsoft Surface Pro 2 works with Windows 8.1 Pro OS. IPad Air's body is extremely thinner and incredibly lighter than the Microsoft Surface Pro 2, even when they were released only 1 months apart.
The iPad Air counts with a bit better processing power than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the iPad Air also counts with a graphics processor and a 64 bits processor. IPad Air counts with a sharper display than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels and a better display density.
Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a lot bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than iPad Air, because it has more internal storage.
