IPad Air has a score of 77.9, which is a bit better than the Microsoft Surface Pro 3's 72.2 overall score. IPad Air comes with iOS 8.x operating system, and Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system. Even when the iPad Air and the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 were only released with a couple of months difference, the iPad Air is a lot lighter and thinner.
IPad Air has a better looking display than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better 1536 x 2048 resolution and a just a little greater amount of pixels in each display inch. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a lot bigger storage capacity for applications and games than iPad Air, because it has 384 GB more internal storage.
