Comparison review
IPad Air is better than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, getting a global score of 77.9 against 69.2. IPad Air comes with iOS 8.x OS, while Samsung ATIV Tab 5 works with Windows 8 OS. IPad Air is a newer device, and it's also much thinner and extremely lighter than Samsung ATIV Tab 5. IPad Air features a sharper screen than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much better resolution of 1536 x 2048px and a lot better pixels quantity per inch in the display.
Samsung ATIV Tab 5's storage capacity for applications and games is very similar to the iPad Air one, they have equal internal memory. Apple iPad Air counts with a quite superior performance than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM memory, and they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the Apple iPad Air also counts with a 64-bits processing unit and an additional graphics co-processor.
IPad Air features a much better battery performance than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because it has an 8820mAh battery size. IPad Air shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, although it has a back facing camera with a lot worse resolution.
The iPad Air is more expensive than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
