The iPad Air is much better than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), having a 77.9 score against 65.7. Even though the iPad Air is older and way heavier than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), it's design is still somewhat thinner. IPad Air has iOS 8.x operating system, while Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has Android 9.0 Pie operating system.
Apple iPad Air has a better processing power than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because although it has 1 GB less RAM and a lower number of cores, it also counts with a GPU and a 64 bits processing unit. The iPad Air counts with a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a larger display, a lot better resolution of 1536 x 2048 and more pixels per inch in the display.
IPad Air has a much better storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
