Apple iPad Air has a global score of 77.9, which is a bit better than Galaxy Tab S3's general score of 75.2. The Apple iPad Air has iOS 8.x OS, and Galaxy Tab S3 comes with Android 9.0 Pie OS. Apple iPad Air's body is much older, extremely thicker and somewhat heavier than Galaxy Tab S3. IPad Air counts with a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory and a lower number of cores, it also counts with a 64-bit CPU and an additional graphics co-processor.
The iPad Air has a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. Both have the same display pixel density, a same size screen and exactly the same 1536 x 2048 resolution. IPad Air features more storage for apps and games than Galaxy Tab S3, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.
The Apple iPad Air features a way better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, because it has a 47 percent larger battery size. The Galaxy Tab S3 counts with a better camera than iPad Air, because it has a lot larger diafragm aperture to capture better captures and videos in low-light environments, a much more mega-pixels back-facing camera and a much higher video quality.
The iPad Air is a bit more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, but you can get a better tablet for that extra dollars.
