Comparison review
The iPad Air is slightly better than Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, with a score of 77.9 against 71.3. IPad Air is an older, thicker and heavier tablet than the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact. The iPad Air comes with iOS 8.x OS, and Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact comes with Android 4.4 OS. Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact has a little sharper screen than iPad Air, because although it has a bit smaller display and a bit lower 1920 x 1200 resolution, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen.
IPad Air has a superior memory for games and applications than Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact has a bit better processing unit than Apple iPad Air, because although it has a slower 450 MHz graphics processor and a 32-bit processor instead of 64-bits, it also counts with more RAM memory and a larger number of cores (and they are faster).
The Apple iPad Air takes just a bit better photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, although it has a worse 1920x1080 video definition and a camera in the back with a much worse 5 mega-pixels resolution, they both have the same aperture. IPad Air counts with a much longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, because it has 8820mAh of battery capacity.
IPad Air is a bit more expensive than Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
