IPad Air 2 has a global score of 79.3, which is way better than the iPad 2's 62.1 global score. These tablets use iOS operating system, but the iPad Air 2 has newer 8.x version and iPad 2 has iOS 7.x version. The iPad Air 2 construction is extremely newer, noticeably thinner and incredibly lighter than iPad 2.
IPad Air 2 counts with a superior CPU than Apple iPad 2, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit and less cores , it also counts with a 64-bits CPU and a larger amount of RAM memory. The iPad Air 2 counts with an incredibly better looking display than iPad 2, and although they both have a same size screen, the iPad Air 2 also has a lot better screen pixels density and a lot higher resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels.
Apple iPad Air 2 has much more memory capacity to install games and applications than Apple iPad 2, because it has more internal memory. Apple iPad Air 2 features a lot better camera than iPad 2, and although they both have the same camera aperture, the Apple iPad Air 2 also has a lot better resolution camera in the back and a way better video resolution.
The iPad Air 2 counts with a bit better battery life than iPad 2, because it has a 6% more battery size.
