Comparison review
The Google Pixel Slate is just a bit better than the iPad Air 2, having a 79.3 score against 79.3. The Google Pixel Slate has Chrome OS operating system, while iPad Air 2 works with iOS 8.x operating system. Google Pixel Slate's body is newer than the iPad Air 2's, but it's thicker and a lot heavier.
The iPad Air 2 has a bit better CPU than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and 1 less 1.5 gigahertz processing cores, it also counts with a 64 bits processing unit. The Apple iPad Air 2 counts with a bit better screen than Google Pixel Slate, although it has a lot smaller display, a lot worse 2048 x 1536 resolution and a just a bit worse screen pixel density.
Google Pixel Slate's camera is very similar to iPad Air 2's camera, and although the Google Pixel Slate has a lot bigger camera aperture, they both have the same video frame rate, the same 1920x1080 video definition and a 8 mega pixels resolution camera in the back. The Google Pixel Slate features a very superior memory to install applications and games than iPad Air 2, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity.
The Apple iPad Air 2 has a superior battery lifetime than Google Pixel Slate.
Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Apple iPad Air 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Apple iPad Air 2. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Google Pixel Slate, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Apple iPad Air 2, resigning some specs and features.
