IPad Air 2 has a global score of 79.3, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4's 75.2 score. The iPad Air 2 body is newer and thinner, but much heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4. The iPad Air 2 comes with iOS 8.x operating system, while Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with Android 4.4.2 operating system.
Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a bit faster processing unit than iPad Air 2, because although it has a 32-bit CPU instead of 64-bits, and they both have 2 GB of RAM, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also counts with 3 more cores and an extra graphics processor. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a bit better looking display than iPad Air 2, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better screen density and a slightly better 2560 x 1600px resolution.
