Comparison review
Apple iPad Air 2 is a bit better than the iPad Air, having a 79.3 score against 77.7. Both of these devices come with the same iOS 8.x OS. The Apple iPad Air 2 is a newer tablet, and it's also much thinner and a little lighter than the iPad Air. IPad Air features a screen that is very similar to Apple iPad Air 2's screen, they have an equal resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels, a same size screen and a better pixel amount per inch in the display.
IPad Air features a little bit better hardware performance than Apple iPad Air 2, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have a 64 bits CPU, the iPad Air also counts with 1 more cpu cores (although they are slower) and a graphics processor. The iPad Air 2 counts with a bit better camera than iPad Air, and although they both have the same video frame rate, a same size aperture and the same video definition, the iPad Air 2 also has a much higher 8 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera.
IPad Air features as much memory capacity for applications and games as the Apple iPad Air 2, they have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage. IPad Air has improved battery lifetime than iPad Air 2, because it has an 8820mAh battery capacity.
IPad Air 2 is a bit more expensive than Apple iPad Air, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
