Apple iPad Air 2 is much better than iPad 3, having a overall score of 77.1 against 64.7. Both of these tablets work with iOS OS, but the Apple iPad Air 2 has a newer 8.x version while iPad 3 has iOS 7.x. The Apple iPad Air 2 is a way newer device, and it is also much lighter and incredibly thinner than the iPad 3.
