Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 has a score of 77.9, which is slightly better than the Apple iPad Air 2's score of 77.1. Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 has Android 4.4 OS, and Apple iPad Air 2 has iOS 8.x OS. Although it's the best tablet device in this review, we must highlight that it's also an older, noticeably heavier and thicker tablet device.
Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 has a little faster processor than Apple iPad Air 2, because although it has a 32-bit processing unit against 64-bits, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory, an extra graphics co-processor and more CPU cores. The iPad Air 2 counts with a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2, because although it has a way smaller display and a quite lower resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, it also counts with a just a bit greater screen pixel density.
The iPad Air 2 features a better camera than Galaxy NotePRO 12.2. Both of them have the same resolution back-facing camera, the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates. The Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 features a lot bigger memory for applications and games than iPad Air 2, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 also has a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 64 GB.
The Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 counts with better battery life than Apple iPad Air 2, because it has a 29% bigger battery size.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing, Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 is also the cheapest one, which makes it a simple decision.
