Comparison review
The iPad Air is just a bit better than iPad Air 2, having a 77.7 score against 74.2. These tablets come with the same iOS 8.x OS. Even being the best we compare here, the iPad Air body is older, much thicker and a bit heavier than iPad Air 2. IPad Air 2 and iPad Air both count with very similar screens, they have the same amount of pixels per inch in the display, a display with the same size and the same resolution of 2048 x 1536.
IPad Air features a bit better processing power than iPad Air 2, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have a 64 bits CPU, the iPad Air also counts with a graphics processing unit and 1 more cores. The iPad Air 2 counts with just a bit better camera than iPad Air, and although they both have the same aperture, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the iPad Air 2 also has a much higher resolution camera.
The iPad Air has much more memory for apps and games than Apple iPad Air 2, because it has 128 GB internal memory. IPad Air counts with better battery lifetime than Apple iPad Air 2, because it has an 8820mAh battery size.
The iPad Air costs more than the Apple iPad Air 2, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
