Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a general score of 73.3, which is just a bit better than the Apple iPad Air's 72.6 global score. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has Android 4.4.2 operating system, while Apple iPad Air has iOS 8.x operating system. Even though the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and Apple iPad Air were released with only 8 months difference, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is thinner and incredibly lighter.
The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a bit more vivid screen than Apple iPad Air, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a greater screen pixels density and a slightly better resolution of 2560 x 1600.
