The iPad Air is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, having a overall score of 73.9 against 73.3. The iPad Air works with iOS 8.x operating system, and Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has Android 4.4.2 operating system. The iPad Air is an a lot heavier and somewhat thicker portable tablet than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4.
The iPad Air features just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because although it has an inferior number of slower cores and 2 GB lesser RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor and a 64-bits processing unit.
