Comparison review
The iPad mini 2 has a score of 77.2, which is a lot better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's 60.8 score. IPad mini 2's design is somewhat thinner but just a little bit heavier than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and they were only released with a couple months difference. The iPad mini 2 comes with iOS 8.x operating system, and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with Android 4.2.2 operating system.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a little bit better looking display than iPad mini 2, although it has a little bit smaller display, a little bit worse screen pixels density and a bit worse resolution of 1200 x 1920. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a little better processing power than Apple iPad mini 2, because although it has a slower 450 megahertz graphics co-processor and a 32-bits processing unit instead of 64-bits, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory and 2 more CPU cores.
The iPad mini 2 features a much better camera than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. IPad mini 2 counts with a much greater storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity.
